Wow! Very nice palm, definitely mature. I'm sure it cost a lot of $$$. I know 7 gallons aren't cheap, and that's way bigger than a 7 gallon...Looks like you guys are pretty cold too from the looks of the ice on the sidewalk.

I sell this exact one for under $500 installed and with a
1-year warranty.

Great looking Sabal Minor! I really like the short and full growing habit that it has. MIne is starting to grow taller than I had expected so I'm getting a little worried about whether it will outgrow its space or not.
Sabals are one of my favorite palm genus!

This Sabal Minor has a trunk. It stands just over 6 feet tall.

Now thats a nice minor Mike, how old is it? I have several over 5', and 2 that look like they are starting to consistently grow from the same point and form a trunk.

Yeah I have had it it only for a few years but it must be about 15 years old or even more. Sabal Minor Louisiiana . Here is another 5 footer above regular Sabal Minor came in a 30 Gal pot and gave be seed this year .. very small trunk. I have others about 5 -8 years old starting to form trunks diagonally along the soil line. I had some up to 7 feet tall this year but sent them to a buddy in BC.

Very nice, glad to see them putting out inflo's that far north. Your protection methods are keeping them happy.
