Those arent old man palms, they are washingtonia filifera.

Old man palms are expensive because they are hard to find and grow slowly. Washingtonias are very cheap so those shouldnt cost 900 dollars!

Thanks, I will make the change to washingtonia filifera. It was just that I guessed these could be old man palms and upon looking up old man palms, I noticed posts about the price of them. But, as a slow grower, I am sure it worth the price.

Is someone selling those very palms? Those are protected plants, native palms in southern California in a nature preserve, so doubt those very plants are being sold. If they are selling a seedling of those, that price is crazy (seedlings up to 20 gal usually go for around $20 around here).
