Areca seeds germinating

tropicbreezent

For years my palm was seeding but something always ate into the seeds killing them. This year when the seeds starting to fall I kept gathering them up and put them on the ground in my shade house, then left it to nature. So far, after a few months, 2 seedlings are emerging. Also put Wodyetia seeds in as well, but none of those are showing yet even though they are usually a lot easier. Obviously what ever was eating into the Areca seeds didn't follow them into the shade house.
