It probably needs a lot more light. It's a cold hardy variety and can be grown inground in zone 7. I'd get a small grow light for it now. Even if you have good exposure there's not that many hours of sunlight during the winter. You can also prune it without causing damage but I'd get some additional light going first and see how it responds. Good luck.
