I'm new to the Passiflora experience, but they were too beautiful to pass up for our edible landscaping. Along those lines I understand that these two may not be able to survive our low temperatures here in Austin. Is it recommended that I grow these outside and simply have a pre-fab green-house that I can erect over them in the event of a couple of cold evenings or should I just get big pots and bring 'em in when the going seems tough?
Regarding fruit -- should I definitely put up some netting around the majority of the plant so that I am not forced to share all of the fruit with the locals?
Where can I get a good fact sheet on these two - or what are some good books that I can pick up at the library that will help me take care of these two?
