Okay, you've got to give us more to go on than that. Starting with, what species or hybrid of passi is it? Also, your location would help to give us an idea of what may or may not survive in your climate.

so far as species i think it was the caerulea variant it had white petals with purple wavy fronds and yellow stamens ( I hope I have the terminology right.) I am in the DFW area so I think I am in zone 7B hope that helps.

Might be a caerulea hybrid--the coronal filaments on caerulea are generally straight. Incarnata and Incense have wavy filaments. Any of those species will regrow from the roots in the spring, but caerulea can stand up to more freezing temps before dying back than the other two.

If you could post a pic, or describe the leaves, that'd help. In any event, you probably don't have anything to worry about.

thank you for the information, the filaments were straight and the leaves were broad and lobed like a pudgy bird's foot. well the weather is trying to warm up over here, so hopefully something will pop up.
