new passiflora wilting

i just received two passiflora edulis to be grown indoors. they're small, (5-7 in. long) and right now they're in 2.5 inch plastic pots in a room with bright, indirect light. i watered once when i unpacked them (5 days ago) and the soil has not dried out but the leaves appear to be drooping. i guess what i'm trying to determine is whether this is from lack of water or from too much water. the soil feels damp to the touch on top. is this normal? or could this be related to temp and/or humidity?
