Incarnata matures quickly, yes, but I don't believe edulis is quite so precocious. I planted some last spring and they've yet to flower. You may have better luck than I, however.

I have amethystina hybrid seedlings that will probably flower this summer if they keep growing the way they have been but I started them almost 3 months ago. I have some vitifolia and another passie seedling that were started later but seem much slower growing. I doubt that I'll get flowers from those for quite a while. 2 months from seed to flower is fast for any plant. I've taken some passiflora cuttings that have bloomed quickly but never seeds. I'd certainly go ahead and plant them even if you won't get blooms this year. Good luck
