| I have purple possum. P. Edulis(sp). It is setting fruit, 1 every other day. They grow really fast, and the largest is about the size of a sm egg. How do you know when they are ripe? do you have to do anything special to them....how do you pick them....uh, I mean do you let them ripen on the vine....how do you go about this?
Thanks, --Rick |

| It's my understanding that it's best to let the fruit drop from the vine on its own, then harvest. If you must pick it off the vine, wait until it come away easily when you pull--if it doesn't break off with slight effort, leave it on there longer. |
