What you've got is passiflora xbelotii (alata-caerulea is an obsolete name). I don't know if it is fragrant or not, but it's reputed to be an easy grower in containers and flowers readily. Your plan to cut back and bring indoors over the winter is a sound one. Enjoy!

I forgot to mention that it's a variety called "Vine Blue".
I saw it on Dave's Garden. There's no picture of the plant or flowers on there but here's one I took of the plant tag.

Passiflora Belotii is a beautiful flower. It is fragrant as well so you'll get to enjoy that. Here is a picture of what the blooms will look like.
