Got two today!

My 'Lady Margaret' and 'Incense' came in the mail today....:) very nice looking plants and well packed!

My question is.....What is the minimum sized pot that is best for these? Should I go ahead and put them in a #1 (gallon) size or will they fill that up to quick? Or should I go with a size that they can stay in well.....forever lol...

Also, I'm REALLY not sure what to do with the 'Incense'????

I've had people tell me to go ahead and put it in the ground and mulch for winter and others say it won't make it through the winter....It's suppose to be hardy to zone6-9 almost everyone I see selling them say 6-9...But I don't want to lose it.

Thanks for any advice I want to get them potted up today :O)

If you don't want to lose it pot it up,to be safe.
I started mine in 1 gallon,to big a pot might root rot them.
They need good drainage as well.

Do both!

Terrible. A friend forgot to tack 'Incense' for me onto her order. I wanted to try that thing in terra firma in a 6b site. One could layer it and try the progeny to the earth. Let mamma watch from a warm windowsill to see if her kid is made of tough stuff.
