'Parcha Maracuya' is one of the several common names of Passiflora in Spanish. It is probably an edible species. If it is from Southamerica (most likely), it is a tropical. However some tropical plants can withstand some cold (P. edulis, P 'Frederick'). Some other common names for Passiflora in Spanish are: 'Parcha', 'Maracuya' and 'Parchita'. Good luck.
