check out EBay there is a guy there saling a samples kit of 6 plants (all basic starting plants). the ones I got were really nice. smallest around 6" the largest about 2'. well packed, ifact the post office lost the package for 5 days and the plants recovered over night. Something a poorly packed plant won't do. If he does as good for you as he did for me you will be pleased.

Hi summeronmymind--I recently saw passionflowers at, of all places, New River Pottery at South Hills Mall in Cary. They were not labeled with a name, were large plants, and selling for around $22, I believe. I haven't seen them anywhere else this year. I just ordered some from Glasshouse Works in Ohio but haven't received them yet. Glasshouse didn't get great reviews on the Garden Watchdog site, but they were inexpensive so I thought it might be worth a try.

Keep you eye on your local Lowe's. They had a great selection this weekend (in Knoxville, Tn.)in the tropical section. They were large, healthy plants (covered in buds) and were $19. I bought Belotii and a Caerulea "Clear Sky".
