Go to the plant trading forum here on GW and request a trade for the passiflora. Be sure to list what plants you have to trade, too.

I've got a couple up for sale on Ebay right now, or I'm happy to trade with folks on Garden Web. Either way works for me. ;-)

I was looking at one trader's list, and they said they have a type of Incarnata that does not set fruit. Knowing nothing much about passiflora, does this mean it's a sterile hybrid (that may be less hardy that regular P incarnata) or is it that there is no other passiflora to cross-pollinate it? I need help with this!

jblasche, I swear the other day Ebay didn't have any plants. Thanks for mentioning them. I think I spotted your passifloras.

It's on Ebay that I read about needing cross-pollination from a different...variety, I'm going to say (like blueberries). Will it have to be another P incarnata, or can there be some species mingling?

Check with your local (Indiana) forums, in GW or elsewhere to find plant to purchse or trade.
P. Incarnata have shallow horizontal roots from which more shoots come up. This is how it is in the wild around here in GA. Right now they are about a foot tall and ready to grow tnderills and climb. Almost all of the flowers become a fruit. Bumble bees love them so they get polinated. But it takes a long time to ripen. Also, the fruit is very tart and has many very hard seeds. I put the flesh of fruits in a cheese cloth and squeeze the juice out. Use it to flavor drinks.
So, to me the most interesting feature of P.Incarnata is the flower and its climbing habit that can go on trelis along with other vines.
