First passion flower

Hello!

I just got my first passion flower. It's P. caerula. Blue flowers, my favorite. Anyways, it's a pretty pathetic looking thing since I'm guessing it's just now waking up from a winter nap. It's got one little leaf so far. At the moment I have it under some plant lights because I wasn't sure if it was the right time to plant it outside. It's supposedly not supposed to get below freezing anymore and actually on Saturday it's supposed to hit 67 degrees and not go any lower than 60 until May 1st. So could I plant it outside now?

I was thinking of planting it next to an old laundry pole thing that we never use. It's out in the middle of the open where it can get plenty of light. I'd assume that it will be good for a vining plant, but I'm a newb so I gotta ask first. :P

While I'm at it.. does anyone have some tips or things I should know about before I get myself in over my head?

Thanks.
