Cyanea sounds like it's a hybrid, and in that case you won't find any seeds from it--passiflora hybrids don't come true from seeds, even if they are fertile. You'd need to find a clone or someone willing to give you a cutting to propogate it from.

Cyanea is in fact a species not a hybrid, however most specimens in cultivation labeled as cyanea are in fact passiflora retipetala. So for all intents and purposes the two are synonymous, basically. I've never seen any seeds available but you can get plants from a couple of sources, I think alohatropicals.com had it or maybe kartuz.com.

Many thanks for the info. I did finally hear back from Logee's regarding my original inquiry into their old listing of P. Cyanea; they apparently maintain a parent plant and can produce a small offspring with 8-10 weeks' time.

Glad that worked out for you. You might like blue bouquet offered by Logees.It's blue-ish purple and its an awesome plant.

I visited Logee's in January 2006, and bought a P. cyanea "off the rack." They had a bunch of them, so possibly they custom grew some but ended up with extras. I'm preparing to put it in a new pot and bring plant indoors for the cold months. It started blooming in early September and is still putting out buds.
