where did my flower go????

This may be a very silly question, but I am new to passionflowers. Just got one for Mother's Day. I have a caerulea blue that is growing beautifully. It's loaded with buds. However, yesterday a flower opened and today it's closed up and a new flower is open. Is this normal, or is there something wrong?

I know someone out there knows the answer as I have gotten great information from this site.

That's normal. Many, if not most passiflora blooms only last a day.
