P. 'Incense' virus

I have heard that all stock of this cultivar are infected with mosaic virus. How does this affect the plant? It seems to be the most vigorous plant I've ever seen. Is this dangerous to my other Passifloras? If I remove this plant, what implications are there for planting another Passiflora in the same spot. Why is this plant in cultivation? Shouldn't it be destroyed.
