Cool! they a first glance, look like little rockets or strawberries lol. Looking forward to seeing what the open bloom looks like. Do they have a fragrance?

I think the buds look kind of like rocket pops and the flowers like sombreros. They still haven't opened and I hope those horrid tree rats don't eat them. I've never noticed any fragrance.

I looked it up in Ulmer & Macdougal's book. Its indigenous to Hispanola (Haiti/Dom. Rep.) and Puerto Rico. It really is nice.
