Does p.laurifolia self-pollinate?

I've done searches on the web and have conflicting information. Some suggest that it self-pollinates while others say it needs pollens from another plant to do it.

It can be quite tempermental but hand pollination should do it. That said, in some species some clones will self-pollinate and others wont.

Thank you Passionflow. I've got a p.laurifolia. My first attempt at pollinating it failed. The pollens just wouldn't adhere.

There are new flower buds coming up now and I will attempt to hand pollinate again.

Pollination failed again. This time round I had 2 flower buds. One reached the stage where it almost bloomed, but just didn't and then the bud dropped. The other bud bloomed and I did the pollination. It seemed the pollens adhered but 2 days later the flower dropped.

So disappointed.
