Zebra Longwing or Gulf Fritillary

On my maypop that my sister sent me from FL, there are definite butterfly eggs. I am unable to tell whether they are Zebras or Gulfies, but there are some yellow ones laid in clusters around the bud areas, as well as single ones (silvery black) laid on the topsides of some of the leaves. I am wondering if I let them hatch or destroy them, which I don't want to do, but am worried they won't survive, as they are not native here, to my knowledge.
Any help would be appreciated. Yes, the vine was sent with the eggs. I noticed them when I opened the plant.
