How do I get them to grow???

I have grown passion flowers in the past with decent success, but this year I came into the possesion of some seeds. I did some research on how to get them to germinate and was surprised at how many of the seeds germinated.

It took around a month for them to outgrow the cotyledons (i choked this up to them being in a makeshift greenhouse in my dorm room). But after they produced their first leaf, nothing has happened. Over the last month of no growth, they have been thinned out by their own desire to no longer live, and I only have 4 left.

this is my most healthy plant

I know it is too late in the year to get them to really do anything, but if their was a way to make them grow a bit so that they are sturdier for a winter under my mother's poor care, I would really like to know
