The caterpillars have eaten every leaf!

Hi Everyone. The Caterpillars have eaten everyleaf on my p. alata, constance elliot and blue crown. Do you think they will come back out? should I cut the stems back and feed the roots? Help! I know they are butterfly food, but I wanted some flowers too. LOL

Don't cut them back as that will increase the stress on them. Feeding won't help either as there is not much to feed! Just leave them, keep them a little dry and learn from this that caterpillars can kill the plants. What some people do is have one plant that they transfer all the caterpillars to (by hand use gloves) so that thay will still have butterflies but also flowers.
