I'm just curious - it doesn't seem like P. vitifolia is used very much in breeding. With the dominance of blues and purples that are already out there, I would think red would be the next frontier. Although the tepals of vitifolia tend to reflex, which might be considered "undesirable", it's vigour and bright red color would seem to make it a good parent. Anyway, just kind of thinking out loud.
