I have a passiflora coccinea (about 7 1/2 feet tall and full of new growth.I haven't seen a bloom all summer.
Should I toss the plant away or do blooms normally come later with this type? |

Most of my passies have put out very few blooms this year. The only ones that are blooming regularly for me are a couple of my reds, the vitifolia and murucuja and even those started later then usual. I'd just wait. If you decide you don't want to wait for flowers don't toss it. I'm sure someone here would be happy to pay you to ship it to them. Karyn |

| P. coccinea usually needs to get quite large to bloom. It also *may* be a short day bloomer, so it will possibly start to bloom in fall as days get shorter. |
