The key here is your comment 'high humidity' this slows transpiration and reduces the stress on the plants roots and vascular system even at very high temperatures. In uk in lower humidity at those temperatures or higher the growing tips will visibly droop during the day but perk up at night. I have yet to see the plant damaged by the heat though, but I could see a small one grown in high temp/low humidity struggling. The really tempermental ones in high heat low humidity are many of the Tacsonia

Many thanks....it is good to know that this one is suitable for the Georgia coast...I hope ( but fear) that I have the "non-flowering" cultivar of this beautiful vine. If so, do you have any reccomendations on where to find a flowering clone?
