In previous years I've cut back my passion flowers and brought them into a heated greenhouse where they continue to grow, albeit a bit more slowly because of the shorter daylight. I'm going to have serious space issues this year and might not have room for all of them. Can some varieties be allowed to go dormant, say in an unheated garage? What about the tropical varieties? Can they survive being cut back and treated like a hanging houseplant? They are so pretty this year and I'd hate to lose them.
