Problems with passiflora plant

Dear all,

I live in Israel near Nazareth. Our passiflora is 4 years old. It was always very strong (the metal fence winded with stems up to 2 inch in diameter, powerful roots, flowers and fruit several times a year). It felt itself very well in our hot climate even with limited watering, spreading to the fences of neighbors, about 50-60 feet long now.

This year something happened with it: much less shoots, some of the stems withered, the leaves loose their previous bright green color and tend to curl up, much less flowers and fruit.

Could you kindly advise what to do? We never used any fertilizers or other chemistry. Attempts to water the plant strongly did not help.

Thanking in advance,

Lily
