Incense and caerula - how hardy?

Posted by madabouteu 7b - northern Alabam (My Page) on

At a plant swap today, I got established cuttings of 'Incense' and P. caerula. It's my understanding that these are more or less hardy in my area (right on the border between zones 7 and 8).

Should I keep them in their pots in a protected area until spring? Once established in the ground, would heavy winter mulching be a good idea?

I'm in 7a and mine come back. They are not planted in protected areas. They should both do fine by you.
