A Few Pics From Strybing

Last Sunday I visited Strybing Arboretum and Botanical Gardens. It was a beautiful warm day. I spent close to four hours there, and took all of twelve pictures. I guess I was too distracted skipping around from garden to garden.
Mostly I photographed the Passifloras growing along the perimeter chain link fence, though P. herbertiana was nestled in a beautiful Banksia in the Australian section (my favorite in the botanical gardens). I also noticed, but didn't photograph, three or four newly planted 'Mission Dolores', all in full bloom. They were so small the blooms were nearly touching the ground.
Exoniensis

I like this one because the bee is about to fly into the floral tube, where they completely disappear.

Pink enough for you?

Herbertiana

Mathewsii alba, hard to photograph, also maybe not the most photogenic. The bees sure seemed to love it.

This bee is proving her mad skills by planking on mathewsii alba

This one was near the spot with the label tarminiana 'Bailadores', but I was under the impression 'Bailadores' was white.

Thanks for looking!
