How can you tell when...

I have a p. suberosa and it is covered in tiny fruits. How can you tell when they are mature enough to harvest? Thanks, Linda

Hi Linda
They should look like in the link below when ripe - they tend not to drop but in any event they are not edible - they are meant for bats rather than humans to eat! You can use them to make ink though apparently.

Thanks Myles, I wasn't planning to eat them though, just wanted to harvest the seeds. LOL I appreciate your help. linda
