Pollinator for Edulis

| I've had some trouble getting my Edulis to set fruit, so when I located another Passiflora nearby, I decided to try it. But I wanted to see if it will even pollinate the Edulis. From what I can tell, the new one is P. "Perfume Passion". It could be P. allardii or P. belotii, which have been sold by the big box stores in my area, and are so similar as to be identical to each other. Perfume is nearly identical to A & B, the only difference being Perfume's sepals have more purple color, which this one does. My question is, will a cross of P. alata x caerulea, which all three above are, pollinate an Edulis? |

| My edulis was pollinated by a caerulea or a caerulea Clear Sky. I think that P. belotii is completely sterile and doesn't produce pollen but am not sure. Any caerulea cross that produces viable pollen should be able to fertilize edulis. |
