Overwintering seedlings

I have about a dozen Incarnata and Caerula seedlings that I started in early June. Several are about 4 feet high and the rest are about 2 feet high. They are doing great and climbing various wrought iron fixtures in the yard. They all are planted in 3 gallon containers which are sunk in the ground and covered with mulch. Will they survive my relatively mild winter this way? We can expect a few nights in the teens and daytime highs only getting to about 30 degrees. Average winter temps are roughly a low of about 30-35 degrees F and highs around 50 F. I know that established Incarnata and Caerula will probably die to the ground and come back from the roots in the Spring under these conditions. My question is will these young plants do the same or will the temps be too much for their new root systems? Should I bring some of them in the basement for the winter? - Thanks, mark
