blue passiflora vine

I planted my passiflora in a pot and intend on trying to winter it inside. I don't have the option of a sunny spot so plan on letting it go dormant. hoping it revives in the spring. I think my basement is the dark, dry, cool place for that. I was wondering if I should cut it back for the winter or just leave the length of growth? how far back should I cut if that is the case? and watering only once a month lightly? I can gradually allow it more light as spring approaches. when should that be? Feb. or March? and when replacing it outside, should I re pot?
