Cutting back Passiflora for winter indoors?

I have brought Passiflora Lavender inside and it is now back to the height it was when I bought it: about three or four feet (it had grown its many fronds 10+ ft). Should it be cut back say to 6 inches - thats my gut. I have a Mandevilla DuPont and I have the same question for that too!

You won't hurt anything by cutting it back, but you will need to do so quite often - these guys both get to be massive plants.
