Sounds like it's been getting too much water and some sort of rot or fungus has taken hold. It should be going pretty dry between waterings, especially in the winter. You also have the added humidity of being in the bathroom. I'm not sure what can be done at this point. Maybe you can take it out of it's container, remove the soil and repot it in some new sterile mix and water very sparingly. Good luck.

I think you've nailed it with the fungus diagnosis. I've been watering with mosquito dunk flavored water for a couple of weeks now because of fungus gnats and I just never connected the dots. How sad.

I thought the passion vines needed the humidity and that's why I was keeping them inn the bathroom. I have 4 others that are doing fine in there right next to my dying lady. I can put them in a south facing window for more sun.

I'll go out and buy some new potting mix tomorrow and try the repotting. It can't hurt at this point.

I hope it responds. I use water with Bt also but I put it in a spray bottle so I don't soak the soil. I usually only have problems with fungus gnats with seeds and seedlings.
