| I think I planted this last summer. I was told it was a tree peony. Unfortunately it hasn't bloomed this year and all the other peonies have already done their thing.
Can anyone confirm that this is indeed a peony? If so, I assume I've planted it too deep as the reason it hasn't bloomed... |

| Otis, it looks like a regular, herbacious, peony. It may not bloom the first year after planting, they tend to be tempermental, I have had them take two or three years to begin blooming. Hope this helps. Gerry |

| Leaves look like Festiva Maxima, a herbaceous white peony. But all are similar except p. tenufolia. I could be dead wrong. |
