| Has anyone here participated in the APS Seed Distribution Program (SDP)?Donated seeds are required to be dried: "make sure to allow the seeds to dry, prior to packing them in an envelope (not plastic bags - in case the seeds are not totally dry) for shipment." It seems to me that drying seeds causes delayed/reduced germination? |

| Drying may but molding in an envelope definately will if they not completely dry. Are you planning on going to the APS meeting? It will be in Columbus, Ohio this year. |

| I attended the last APS meeting at Kingwood Gardens and am looking forward to see what their greenhouse has for sale. Last time I came home with some excellent plants. I will need to look up Malabar Farm. |

| What kind of plants are sold in the greenhouse? Any tree peonies? |

| No tree peonies but at the APS auction for members there are normally a couple of plants. The greenhouse had all kinds of butterfly plants along with watergarden plants. As it was several years ago I can not remember other than a couple of thymes that did not like where I planted them what I purchased. I remember that many of the plants were not available locally. But all of the plants were of excellent quality. Some had a little freeze damage from a very late freeze. Several of my friends also took home a trunk load of plants. One of the reasons I like to travel by car is that you can look for plants that are not available in your area or are available only at one small growers place. |

| you should see the wade and gatton nursery.it is about 18 miles from kingswood.it has been years since i was there but it was fantastic.the display gardens were awsome.ralfsmom |
