I know these Chinese TPs are rather common. But the ones listed below are said to be good performers in our relatively cold regions -

If you want to make a field trip to the HPS sale this October I know there will be at least a couple of the Daphinis TP's on order.

I like the Chinese TP's but they take several years to establish their own roots. For me they seem to grow the first year but that stem on many appear to die. If I leave the plants alone new stems will come from the area just below the dirt surface in the following years. I just have to keep my hands off and let nature take over.

I'm looking for some peonies that are two-toned...
