I bought peony seeds, now what?

I bought two different types of peony seeds-I wasn't seeking seeds, but the opportunity presented itself. I have read so many different ways to sow the seeds and I am feeling a little overwhelmed by all of the information. Some say to soak them in water first or hydrogen peroxide? Others say to put them in a moist bag of peat moss or perlite and leave them on the refrigerator for 3 months until the radicle germinates and then stick them in the refrigerator for another 3 months. I would love to hear of any successful, or not so successful, methods that any of you may have tried-tips in general are much appreciated as well! Thanks!
