Does anyone have/like this one? Does it really have noticable violet & salmon tints?

Well, Help Me Find is not nearly as thorough for peonies as it is for roses, but they do have one picture up. I tend to trust people's garden pictures more than magazine shots! Sorry I'm not more help; I don't grow this one.

Whoever posted that photo is mistaken - definitely not the Duchesse D'Orleans - which is a double. In fact, it looks exactly like my Bowl of Beauty the first year it bloomed.

Hmmm; interesting. If you have time, Sue, you should click on "report photo error" on the HMF photo; I'll do it too. It's always useful to me when people tag photos as incorrect!

Amulet - Thanks for the link. One of the 3 photos is the same photo, though, that lilgreenfrog sent me to on her post. Maybe there's 2 different Duchesse D'Orleans? Doesn't look at all like the description, though!
