| My mom gave me a single peony two years ago. First year it did soso, last year it grew big and never flowered. This year i see its eyes coming out of the ground. My question is -- It really never gets to cold here, and i have read that they have to have cold to bloom. Can i ever expect blooms, if i dont dig up and ref. it????? |

| If you wash the soil off the top of the plant till the buds are exposed to air temperature, you should get enough chilling. About 400 hours minimum is required. Al |
