If you are looking for a double pink late blooming variety, I have read that 'Vivid Rose' is one of the last to bloom.

I don't know of any suppliers since I have never had a need for cut peonies, but you may be able to find some growers by searching the internet for "peony farm".

Try the Canadian and Alaska growers.

My Vivid Rose blooms in late June in New England...but not in July. I've seen some peonies in bloom in early July in northern Vermont.

I agree with maifleur about seeking out the NORTHERN growers!

They sure are a gorgeous flower at a wedding! Can you move the wedding back to June????

You might want to google a site called florabuy. They are a flower wholesaler and when I was married 4 years ago I ordered all of my flowers from them (I just tried to check the site and it says 'temporarily unavailable' - hmm? I haven't checked it in 4 years...). At the time they had a minimum purchase of $100 and they did sell to individuals (I called them to ask this before I tried to place an order as the site makes it seem as if they only sell to businesses). Like you, I wanted to carry peonies for my mid-July wedding and I was able to get **many** beautiful stems of Sarah Bernhardt peonies (as well as roses, lilies, etc, etc...)through them. If I remember correctly, they had 3 colors of peonies available at the time: red, white, pink.

I know this post is old, but I'm a newbie here. What a beautiful thought of having a bouquet of peonies to hold going down the aisle. The smell alone, besides their beauty, would be incredible. Careful, could steal attention away from the bride. ;-)
