They are both double peonies and both are considered "red". Although, in my opinion they are both more of a dark pink color. I do grow both of them. Is there any way you can post a picture of the one you have? That would definitely help with an id. Thanks!

do you just want pics of the plants? i'm still several weeks from bloom and since they were moved they might not now.

Picture of the blooms would be the most helpful. If they bloom this year, that would be the best indicator. A lot of peonies come up with red foliage that turns to green.

thats what i assumed you meant, but was hoping. they've never bloomed for me and i doubt they will this year as i just moved them a few weeks ago. some of my others are starting to set buds now, but i haven't actually looked at the 'reds'
