How much sun does the part shade area get during spring/summer? I'm thinking at least 4 hours might be acceptable if you were to plant there.

Regarding the sunny area, I'm a wee bit concerned about the black eyed susans as they can spread to become a large clump after awhile and could crowd the peony if they were near it (unless you eventually divide them). The asiatics could actually do fine in that part shade spot if you'd be willing to move those (I have seen them doing well on the edge of an understory, high shade spot). Is that silver lace vine growing on a fence?

The peony could stay in the pot but unless it was a somewhat heavy pot or weighted down while on the steps, I'd be afraid it could fall over or get knocked over by accident or by some storm, etc., which could snap the woody stems. The tree peones can become quite top heavy and unstable without some sort of heavy pot once they are larger.

Sounds like what you have is a steady progression of blooming with the peony, asiatics, and finally black eyed susans... I bet it's pretty. Just some things to think about.

The shady area is bright but being on the North side does not get much of dirct sun.
The silver lace vine is pretty small right now and it is supported by a stick in the pot and I will let it grow over the side rails of the steps. Even if i move the lily it is not going to be enough for peony as ther is a rose bush too. hmmm don't know...May be keep it in a larger pot for now?

You can keep in the pot for a bit. Looks like you ran out of room like alot of us!! LOL
