White Dust on Peony Leaves

| I have had the bush in my yard for about 7-8 years and the last two seasons they have had white dust on the leaves. They still bloom as usual, but lately not as much as they used to. I dont add these leaves to the compost as I am afraid it will damage what I have, and I dont want to dig them up if not necessary. I may have a picture and can post, but if someone knows what this is, please tell me how to cure and what to do! |

| The spores that cause powdery mildew need to be removed from the garden. Remove affected leaves and put in plastic bags in the garbage. As a preventive, spray a Bordeaux mix on the remaining plant and the soil around the plant. Try and prevent the foliage from being kept wet for long periods. Al |
