difference in peony names

I am trying to decide which peony I want between the Sarah Bernhardt and the Edulis Superba....can someone please tell me the difference between the two and which one has the most fragrant, biggest blooms? I appreciate it since I am new to peonies.

I don't grow either, but I've seen plenty of photos of each, and Edulis Superba appears a deeper shade of pink than Sarah Bernhardt. One web site describes E.S. as a "zingy shade of pink and old rose". The Sarah Bernhardt is classified a late-season peony and the Edulis Superba is supposed to be a midseason grower. One web site that sells both calls the S.B. bloom very large & E.S. bloom large.

One website I checked says S.B. has mild to strong fragrance and E.S. has strong fragrance.

I have both, but my Edulis Superba is young, this will be its first year bloom. As for mid season/late season, both are in bud now, ES should bloom any day but SB won't be far behind. It would be hard to beat SB, very fragrant & lovely.
