Most tree peonies will not need covering unless the temps are to be below 26-28F. I did however last week have a High Noon that was just coming up from the ground that the new growth has freeze damage.

Yes, looking forward to the Heartland sale. The peonies I bought year before last are doing great. My dream peony is Saunder's Gaughin. I know it probably not attainable but something that line would be wonderful. Thanks for asking. Marie

I'm stoked about the Fall Sale. 2 years ago was my 1st, and now I have the fever!

I would like to see White Cap and/or Gay Paree...some of the dual color varieties to mix up the solid red, white, pink varieties I already have.

As far as Tree Peonies go, I only have 2, so just about anything will probably be pleasing to my eye. Unless this hard freeze tonight kills the buds, my tree peonies from the last fall sale will have about 4 blooms each.

I have been talking to some of the plant selection committee and because of the economy they are planning on having a smaller sale. I will start another thread of this years wish list. Please put anything you are looking for on that thread.
