can you use peonies as a little border?i want to move the peonies that i have growing where my vegetable garden is also there are a few in my front yard i would like to move them along my chain link fence in the back yard but i was wondering if that would be ok as long as i didnt over crowd them.i only want to go about two sections which is about 3 feet long.any suggestions would be a great help. thank you.my email address is michfoxy2004@yahoo.com

You can use peonies as a border. They come in heights between 8 inches and 8 feet for the tallest herbaceous. If you only have three feet to fill I would suggest planting just one plant of your choice. Of course the best time to move peonies is late summer-early fall not now.

Look at the various online nurseries or go to your local garden or park and look at the various peonies there. You have all summer to decide what you want.
