Can you help me find this peony? (Cordova)

Can anyone help me find the "Cordova" peony? I think it was from Autens. It is white with yellow specks in the middle. I have been looking for it for a long time now because it is named after my hometown in Cordova, Alabama. It was developed in the early to mid 1900's by a Mr. Long. So far I've hit a great deal of dead ends in my search. Any ideas/ information?

It is probably not available commercially. You might try contacting the city of Cordova to see if there is a garden club or civic clubs in the area. It is possible that one of the older members might have the peony that you are looking for. It truely sounds lovely. You might also contact Auburn university. Strange as it sounds they have received tree peony plants from Goldport when Goldport left Alabama. It could be possible that if there is someone studying peonies that they may have a lead for you.
